What is Neatcall?

Neatcall is a new and much easier way to managing your online communications with your colleagues and associates. Neatcall helps you to better manage your time by optimizing people, time and communications. Neatcall is an innovative application for finding the optimal time slot for any online communication event such as a phone conversation, audio conference call, textual chat room, web meeting, or face to face meeting. What is “Initiator” and what are “Invitees”?

An “Initiator” is a subscriber user who is registered to the Neatcall service and can therefore set, schedule, initiate, conduct and deliver any kind of event using Neatcall.

“Invitees” are users who are invited by the initiator to the event. Invitees do not have to be subscribed to Neatcall.  

How does the Neatcall solution work?

The event initiator logins to Neatcall application through the web interface, desktop application or mobile phone, and there presses “Create Event”. The initiator will be prompted to select the communication type: phone call, conference call, chat room, web meeting, video conferencing or face to face meeting.  The initiator then selects one or more invitees from the contact list and decides about the messaging format: SMS or WAP and EMAIL. Finally, the initiator suggests several available time slots from the calendar (normally up to 3) and then presses "send". From this point on Neatcall will do most of the work.

When an initiator creates an event with Neatcall, each invitee receives from Neatcall a personal message, by either SMS, WAP or EMAIL. The invitees can pick the best timeslots and respond to the initiator simply from within the request message – even if that message was a simple SMS! Note that invitees need no client or registration to respond to your invitations.

The Neatcall server analyzes the responses, even though these may arrive by different methods - SMS, WAP or Web. Neatcall suggests to the initiator the optimal match, so that the initiator may confirm a final time slot and with one click send the booking message to all invitees. The booking message will automatically include all the relevant information on how to connect to that event.

How is Neatcall different from business calendars such as Microsoft Outlook or Google Calendar?

Neatcall is not replacing your calendar, it simply accelerates it and speed up the scheduling process by far AND adding online communication tools to be integrated directly with your calendar. All calendaring systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, Yahoo Calendar, iCal and IBM Lotus Notes offer same way of scheduling, The organizer of the meeting offers one time slot and if it works for everybody it is great, but if it doesn’t (and let’s face it, most times it doesn’t…) then there is an endless back and forth exchange of phone calls, voice mails, email and SMS messages, which can take hours if not days - until an agreed time slot can be found. Moreover, parallel attempts to schedule other events are likely to deadlock the process altogether. What a waste of time! Professionals and organizations spend huge amounts of time and money on lengthy coordination of events that can often be urgent or critical for their business. Neatcall lets initiators share several available time slots for each specific interaction, and leave the task of coordination to the Neatcall server. The invitees can reply as they like, indicating that all time slots are good, or that a few of them, or only one works for them, or none of them. Neatcall Server processes those replies and suggests to the initiator the optimal time slot. Through this process you increase the chance to find an agreeable timeslot by hundreds of percents. And do not forget – invitees getting invitations through SMS and responding through SMS really speed up the process, as their cell phones are almost always available. So instead of spending hours to set a meeting, you can do that with Neatcall within a few minutes or seconds!

What are the system requirements?

Not much.

In order to use NeatInvite, which lets you schedule and coordinate any event, from your PC you need a standard PC and any kind of Internet connection.

NeatInvite from the web – all you need is a standard browser.

NeatInvite from the desktop – all you need is Microsoft 2007 or 2003 Outlook. When you download the NeatDesktop plug-in component, it will be integrated with Outlook and would appear on all relevant Outlook windows.

NeatInvite from the cell phone – all you need is a mobile phone with basic Internet access (WAP)

Do the people I invite to events need to sign-up with Neatcall? 

No!
